Beef Stew with red wine.. Empty Beef Stew with red wine..

1.5 lbs of cubed beef
3 large carrots
4 stalks celery
1 medium onion
4 cups beef bouillon
1.5 cups burgandy wine.
4 large potatos or 10-12 small fingerling or roast potatoes..

flour generously and brown beef in skillet add onion and wine let simmer...
into a large soup pan add bouillon, carrots, celery and dump simmering beef, onion and wine mix..
bring to a boil and then reduce heat to simmer for 30 min... add cubed potatoes or intact small potatoes.. increase heat to boil until potatoes are done....
season to taste, I usually add italian seasonings, shallots....

serve with red wine and bread...... Very Happy

oh and don't forget to chop the celery and carrots.. or they won't fit into the pan.. haha!!
